During a lesson on World War II, two quarrelsome students are sent out of the classroom. But something inexplicable happens: a sudden space-time short circuit catapults them into the heart of the bombing of Augsburg on May 13, 1943. In an air-raid shelter, among unfamiliar peers, fear, and silence, the two find themselves immersed in History.
